Darwin is an employee benefits and employee engagement SaaS solution, supporting over 3 million employees globally in over 100 countries. It wanted to commission research in key markets to understand “clients’ willingness to buy” and “users’ willingness to use” a mobile benefits management proposition. The research is part of an internal Mobile Strategy workstream and the insight gathered will be used to inform strategic product decisions.
OUR APPROACH
A thorough cross-country market research, spanning over 9 months, with Qualitative and Quantitative surveys was conduced to do analysis on how Employees and HR admins perceive and interact with their benefit management provider and their thoughts on what makes a good mobile application.

The world is increasingly moving towards mobile integration across everything that they do – whether its work or personal areas of impact. Approach to building and growing tech should always have a ‘mobile first’ strategy in place to prepare for the future and provide a seamless integration with existing technologies.

The market research aided the company in deciding whether to invest in creating a stand-alone benefits mobile application, and also helped them narrow down the road map of app development. Further findings from the research have been used to inform other internal decisions in the company.
